Overview
This training course is based on the national unit of competency HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
HLTAID009 is the new national course code that replaces the old HLTAID001 code, so by completing this course with DLI Training, you can be assured that you are getting the most current CPR certification possible.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is the name given to the technique of combining rescue breaths with external cardiac compressions.
This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
The materials in this course describe the skills and knowledge needed to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
